Alice Faye Hernandez, born March 31st 1949, passed away peacefully in her home on July 8th.

Alice had so many hobbies - painting, flower arrangements, sewing, and so many more. If she wasn’t doing crafts, she was shopping at Michael’s for more materials. If she were able to, she would have spent hours in that store.

Alice was so very loved, and she loved all. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her family. She will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents Kenneth Lilley and Bertha Barthol, her brothers Billy Bebee, Marvin Lilley, and James Pannell Sr., and her sister Evelyn Carpenter.

She is survived by her husband Tony Hernandez, her sisters Mary, May (Bob), and Betty. Her daughter Pam Aziz (Fred), their children Brandon (Carlina) and Tasha. Her daughter Sherrie Reynolds, her children Rachel (Victor), Kristin (Crysthian), and Rock. Her son Thomas Murrell (Sonia) and their daughter Aurora. Her daughter Tracie Middleton (Jim), their children Dusty, Cheyenne, and Brooke. Her son Anthony Hernandez (Elisha), their children Samantha, Marcus, Kyle, Kali, and Blayne. Her daughter Lori Pierce, and her children Hillary, Courtney, and Whitnee. Her son Matthew Hernandez, and his children Kayla, Rebecka, and Hailey. Her 9 great-grandkids and many nieces and nephews. Her dear friends Sue LaFranchi, Joyce Ruiz, Shirleen Williams, and Dianna Melton.

A celebration of life will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church (3400 F Street in Eureka) on 7/22/17 at 11 a.m.
