Susie D. Stillwell (Donna), 79, of Alderpoint, passed away, June 14, 2017, with her family by her side. A special thank you to Aunt Nada; Audreena; Archie and numerous other, as well as the great folks at Hospice.

Donna was born May 4, 1938, to Albert and Rafaella Wantt. She was married to her beloved husband Beverley Wayne Stillwell for 41 years. Donna worked at Alice Jewett School for many years, although her full-time job was raising her five boys. Donna was an avid Elvis fan and she loved her SF Giants. She occasionally liked to try her luck at the casino. Donna and Bev’s house was always open for those in need. You always knew you would be welcomed with a smile. Donna loved having that cup of coffee with family and friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by many loved ones.

Donna is survived by her great-uncle, Claude Hoaglan; sister, Nada Stillwell; brother, Adrian Wantt and his wife Elizabeth; 5 sons, Douglas, Gary, Michael, Gerald and wife Christina, and Sean Stillwell. Donna had six grandchildren, Jared, Elisha, Shayna, Michael, Sarrie Stillwell and Lindsay Crenshaw; and seven great-grandchildren, Maddox, Kylee, Jacob, Zaisha, Marley, Hunter, William; along with countless nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Beverley Wayne Stillwell; two sons, Randy and Carrie; mother and father, Albert and Rafaella Wantt; two sisters and eight brothers.

Friends and family are all invited to visitation and viewing at Goble’s Fortuna Mortuary, 560 12th St. Fortuna, on Friday June 23, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a graveside service to be held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Covelo, on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 1 p.m. Arrangements under the care of Goble’s Fortuna Mortuary, Fortuna.

Following the Saturday service, at Hidden Oaks Camp Ground in Covelo, (across from the casino) there will be a potluck and anyone is welcomed to bring their favorite dish and join the family in honoring Donna’s life.
