Angelina (Angie) Felicia Criner passed away at the age of 55 on Tuesday, May 3, 2017, in Eureka. Angie was born Sept. 21, 1961, and was raised in Humboldt County as the second youngest out of six children born to James Thornton and Patricia Norberry.

Throughout her life she worked as a cook in various restaurants, met and married her husband Arthur Thomas Criner, and together after many years of hoping and trying they had their two daughters, Brandy and Stormy Criner.

Angie was known to be hardworking, kind, and funny. She could make anyone laugh when they needed it and she always put others in need before herself. During her free time she loved to spend time with her daughters, offering an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on for them. She also loved spending time with her two dogs Cookie and London, and overall spending time with family and friends.

Angie is now resting peacefully with her father, James Thornton, and her beloved sister, Diane Moon. She leaves behind her daughters and mother, siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who all love her very much.
