Fortuna Police Department press release: 

 

The Fortuna Police Department held a swearing in and badge pinning ceremony for its two newest officers in the City of Fortuna Council Chambers. Officers Jeremy Sollom and Nate Hamilton were welcomed to the Fortuna Police Department, with their families and friends in attendance. Both officers are currently in the FPD Field Training Program. 

Officer Sollom was hired on February 6, 2017. Officer Sollom is a graduate of McKinleyville High School and attended the College of the Redwoods Police Academy. 

Officer Hamilton was hired on March 8, 2017. Officer Hamilton is a graduate of Fortuna High School and also attended the College of the Redwoods Police Academy.
