Petrolia Woman Stabbed in Eureka Early this Morning; EPD Searching for Suspect
Eureka Police Department press release:
On March 2, 2017, at about 1:49 a.m., Officers with the Eureka Police Department
responded to the 1300 block of Summer Street for the report that a female had just been
stabbed.
Based on the preliminary investigation, it appears the female victim, 30 year old of
Petrolia, was walking with a male on 14th Street between Pine and Summer Streets when
the male stabbed the female for unknown reasons. The male was last seen running east
on 14th Street. No other description of the male is available at this time.
The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance and was flown to an out of the
area hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.
