On Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at about 1600 hours, The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 500 block of Herrick Ave in Eureka for a report of a disturbance. It was reported a male subject had been stabbed. Once on scene, Deputies determined a domestic dispute had occurred between a female and male subject. During the altercation the female stabbed the male with a kitchen knife. The male sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The female suspect was identified as Kimberly Ann Whitlock, age 36 of Eureka.

Whitlock was later booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility (HCCF) for assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting corporal injury on a spouse and probation violation. Whitlock’s bail was set at $50,000.
