Glen Emory Johnson passed November 11, 2017 at the age of 76.

Glen was born on Aug. 9, 1941 in Eureka and was a loving son to Marvin and Walta (Babe) Johnson. Glen was raised in the Blocksburg area and graduated in 1959 from South Fork High School. He married Donna-Kay Mitchell in August of 1960, and had two daughters, Glenda and Lisa.

Glen is survived by his wife Donna-Kay Johnson, their daughters Glenda Noel and husband Leon, and Lisa Kendall and husband David. His grandchildren: Gillyanne Roberts (Dokweiler), Ethan Kendall, Laura, Beth, Kevin and Seth Noel, and siblings Gail Hoisington and Marvin “Bill” Johnson.   

Glen and Donna-Kay lived in Blocksburg and Orleans before settling in Fortuna in 1969.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who liked to fish, hunt and camp. Glen was well-known in the logging industry as a cat-skinner, truck driver and crane operator and will always be remembered for his integrity, expertise, kindness, and his unforgettable smile.       

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 25 at the Fortuna Church of the Nazarene, 1355 Ross Hill Rd.
