Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office press release:
On 11-05-17 at about 5:25 PM Deputies were dispatched to the Redwood Memorial Hospital on a report of a shooting victim.

He turned to the direction the shots had came from and was struck in the right eye and shoulder with what appeared to be bird shot.
