Klay Thompson is known for making it rain from the three-point line. Now he’s looking to rain cash on relief efforts for California’s Wine Country Wildfires.

The 6-foot 7-inch Golden State wing announced on Twitter today the he will be donating $1,000 to the Redwood Credit Union North Bay Fire Relief for every point he scores during the Warrior’s next three home games.

“As we all know, Northern California has been tragically affected by these wildfires for the past few weeks,” Thompson said on in a Twitter video. “Let’s stick together because a lot of loved ones and families have been displaced and lost from these terrible events, properties have been damaged. But we can build these things back up if we stick together and donate.”

Thompson also encourages other to donate to the cause and links to a PledgeIt.org fundraised titled “Klay Thompson’s Points With Purpose.”
