The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office would like to update the public on the Alderpoint homicide investigation dated September 23rd. The Sheriff’s Office has identified Zachary Cordell Harrison as the suspect in the shooting death of 58-year-old Robert James Holtsclaw. Sheriff’s Office detectives have obtained a Ramey Warrant for Harrison’s arrest and he should be considered armed and dangerous.
The Sheriff’s Office is actively pursuing leads at this time and would like to advise the public that an increased presence in rural Southern Humboldt, Trinity, and Mendocino communities should be expected until Harrison’s capture.
