Our Dear Friend, Randolph (Randy) Dale Crockett, was born in Franklin County, Kansas to Dale & Della (June) on Sept 10, 1945, and passed away at home, at the age of 72, on Sept 18, 2017.

He attended local schools, including Jacobs Jr. High and Eureka High School. He enlisted in the National Guard, as a cook; and was called to service during the 1964 flood to stand watch on Fernbridge. He worked at the Simpson Mill, and then went into the cable business, taking him criss-crossing the country from California to Pennsylvania, Chicago and Seattle.

Randy loved sports. He was a true Bay Area Authentic Sports Fan; The San Francisco Giants, The San Francisco 49ers, and the Golden State Warriors were his teams.

Returning home to help care for his mom and dad, Randy returned to the Eureka Nazarene Church, giving his life to the Lord. Fifteen years ago, Randy came to work for the church. He could often be seen on his breaks, spending his quiet time reading his Bible, propped on the controls of the floor polisher in his “office”. Having given his life to God, Randy was at peace with what was to come. He was a good and faithful servant.

Thank you to St. Joseph’s Oncology, Hospice, Agape House, and everyone who helped care for Randy (and June) over the past year.

Memorial service will be held at the Eureka Nazarene Church, on Monday, September 25th at 12:00 noon with a coffee and cake reception to follow in Ingram Hall.
