Another Bike-Aided Escape After Another Eureka (Possibly) Armed Robbery, Says EPD


JUST SAYIN’: String of Eureka Armed Robberies in Which Suspect Escapes on Bike Could Be Related, Says EPD

Eureka Police Department press release: 

 

On September 7, 2017, at about 1:31 a.m., Officers with the Eureka Police Department responded to a gas station on the 1700 block of Broadway for the report of a robbery that had just occurred.

The store clerk stated the suspect entered the store and demanded money from the register. The suspect pointed his hand at the clerk which was wrapped in a bag. It is unknown if there was a weapon in the bag. The suspect then fled on a bicycle with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers searched the vicinity but were unable to locate the suspect. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Senior Detective Gordon at (707) 441- 4032.
