Jo Ann Powell passed away on Aug. 20 with her husband and daughter, sister and brother holding her close. Jo Ann was so very loved by so many family and friends. She will be missed dearly.

Jo Ann was born to Le Roy and Patricia Towns in Santa Rosa in 1958. She was blessed to have had six brothers and sisters — Deborah Towns Mac, Bill Towns, Teena Spellenberg, Martin Towns, Jackie Towns and Steve Towns.

Heaven truly shined when she was blessed with a husband, love, best friend — Harold Keith Powell. She had two children — Jennifer Fusi and Roy Powell. Also, she had two grandchildren who she held dear to her heart — Dominick Fusi and Payton Fusi.

Services will be held and hosted by close friend Terry at 230 Long Street, Eureka, on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. Please bring any photos and stories you have to share in her memory.
