George Lee Kelly if McKinleyville passed on August 6, 2017.

Born to Bertha Knudsen Brown and Verne Marion Kelly in April 19, 1934, George served in the U.S. Army before returning to Humboldt County to begin his career. He worked in the nursery industry, milling industry but mostly enjoyed the many years he drove truck for Mitchell Bros., Joe Costa Trucking, and Bettendorf. He was a hard working man, loyal and true, and respected for his values.

George is survived by his brother Joe Kelly, sisters Kathy and Gloria, son’s Randy, David, Dean, Tony, and Paul, daughter’s Heather, Christina and Anna; and step-children Gerald Nichols and Becky Ochs. George is further survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, neices and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at the Kelly home in McKinleyville on September 23, 2017 at 1 p.m.
