On April 4, 2018, Carol received her wings and went to Heaven.

She was born on October 2, 1943, to Clifford E Stamp and Betty J Bullman. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Vernon “Les” Reinke, her parents Clifford Stamp and Betty Bullman, her loving brother, James R Stamp and many aunts and uncles.

She leaves behind her only child and daughter, Laura Andrews; son-in-law Dan Andrews; grandsons Mathew Reinke, Justin Reinke and Jordan Andrews; great-grandchildren Liam and Scarlett Reinke; and her little Yorkie, “Emma.”

Carol was born in Upland, Calif. and moved to Fortuna as a child. Carol ran for Miss Humboldt and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. At the age of 19 she met and married Les. Together they raised their daughter and traveled when able. Carol cherished her family and it showed in everything she did. She spent many an hour watching and listening to all three of her grandsons in band. Everyone fondly called her “Granny.”

As per her wishes, there are no services. She will be laid to rest next her beloved husband at a later date.
