June 29, 1951-Nov. 30 2018
Steven Brower passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Eureka on November 30, 2018. His heart just wasn’t strong enough to hold the love he had within him.
Steven was born in Grants Pass, Oregon. He was a long time resident of Humboldt County, having worked for Alto Bros Trucking from June 1994 through October 2016, when health issues forced him into retirement. His hobbies included building customized model cars that he liked to add his own touches to, Betty Boop memorabilia and custom cars.
He is survived by his two children, Eric Brower and Stephanie Brower, his beloved wife Kathy Brower, and his two stepdaughters, Donna Stallings and Stacey Cornelson, and his seven grandchildren: Giana Brenna, John Brower, Kimberly and Briana Stallings, and Scarlet, Royce and Lily Cornelson.
He will forever be remembered for huge giving heart, teddy bear hugs, and his caring spirit.
We would like to thank the St. Joseph Hospital staff for their care and support. A memorial celebration will take place in the near future at Eureka the Pentecostal Church, please contact the family for updates if you would like to join.
am found, I am Yours
I am loved, I’m made pure
I have life, I can breathe
I am healed, I am free
Here’s my heart, Lord”
