Now that the holidays are coming to a close, you may be wondering what to do with the tree. HWMA has gathered some resources for when, where and how to recycle your Christmas Tree.
Before recycling, you must prepare your tree. Remove all lights, ornaments, wire, tinsel, stands and other materials not part of the tree. Then either arrange for tree pick-up using your local garbage hauler or community group, or you may deliver your tree to the locations listed below. Collection dates vary by community.
Once collected, the trees will be chipped and composted!
