Steve John Machado, July 1, 1954 to Dec. 18, 2017.

He was born in Scotia as the only son of Sylvia and Manuel Machado. He is survived by his only son, Shannon John Machado; his daughters, Jessica Louise Umphlett and Sarah Ann Machado; his granddaughter, Cheyenne Flowers; and his wife, Gay Ann Machado. He is also survived by his sisters,  Suszanne Smith, Sandra Smith and Jennifer Bowen.

He will be greatly missed by those who knew him and loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 13 at Rohnerville Assembly of God Church, 1530 Rohnerville Road, Fortuna. The service will start at 2 p.m. Pastor Mike Gibbs will be officiating the service.
