Dorothy Irene Dudal was born on March 22, 1925, in Carlotta to Clyde A. and Rebecca M. Snider (Galloway) and went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2018, while surrounded by her family.

Dorothy grew up in Humboldt County and Del Norte and was one of 11 children. She married the love of her life, “Bud” Dudal on October 6, 1946. They spent their lives together on West End Road in Arcata raising five daughters; Linda, Carleen, Patty, Teresa and Janet and two granddaughters Angela and Julie.

Dorothy loved to spend time with her family, watching Baseball, camping, bowling, sewing, reading, playing cards “I’ll buy that”, and dancing in the kitchen with her husband. Now they are dancing in heaven together again. She worked many jobs, such including welding, baking, and at Green Lot Nursery.

Dorothy was truly loved by all who knew her and will be forever in our hearts.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband “Bud”, mother, father, daughter Linda and all her sisters and brothers, granddaughter Dorina and Great Granddaughter Julieza and Best Friend Pauline Frazel.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters Carleen (Dale) Sutherland, Patty (James) Jones, Teresa (Kelly) Williams and Janet (Tom). Brother in law Roy, Sister in law Jody and Marian. Grandchildren Robert, Tammie (James), Tracy, Byron (Sheri), Curtis (Stephenie), Daniel (Kammy), Angela (Chris), Julie (Ronnie), Brandee, Heather, Shannon (James), David (Krista), Melissa (Willie), Christina (Josh), Thirty-seven Great Grandchildren and Sixteen Great Great Grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. And special thanks for Julie taking such great care of mom.

Celebration of life will be held July 7th, 2018 at Azalea Hall 1620 Pickett Road, McKinleyville, CA. 95519 at 3:00 PM. All family and friends are invited.
