Sleeping all winter is tough work. Sometimes a bear’s gotta take a load off and chill poolside.

Humboldt resident Charlene McCornack captured this big ol’ black bear shaking off  hibernation last week with a dip in a Kneeland cow trough.

McCornack told the Outpost that this trail cam footage was recorded 8 miles from Kneeland Elementary School. According to the camera timestamp, the photos were taken last Friday around 1 p.m.
