A log truck collided with a bicyclist in front of the Broadway Cinema a few moments ago, prompting a large response from police and paramedics.
The bicyclist — a man who appears to be in his 30s — suffered severe injuries in the collision, according to scanner traffic. He was unconscious.
Northbound Broadway has been closed. Traffic is being diverted onto Cedar Street.
First responders on scene called for another ambulance after they learned that another person — a bystander — was injured by debris from the collision.
