Fifteen show dogs are missing after the van transporting them was stolen out of a Redding fast food parking lot this evening.

The Redding Police Department has put out an alert for citizens to be on the lookout for a 2018 Dodge ProMaster cargo van with the Washington license plate BKD2048.

The stolen dog’s breeds include rat terriers, golden labs, and rottweilers.

A Facebook post about the incident, which was put out earlier this evening by professional dog show handler Tony Carter of Washington, has already received nearly 20,000 shares.

“PLEASE DEAR GOD HELP US PLEASE!!!” Carter wrote on Facebook two hours ago. “WE STOPPED IN REDDING CA. TO GET LUNCH AND WITHIN 3 MINS OUR VAN WITH 14 DOGS WAS STOLEN!!!”

Redding Police have since released a photo of what the suspect, who appears to be a bald white man wearing a black shirt.

The dog’s owners have offered up a $2,000 reward for the dogs safe return.
