LoCO Patrolled tips us off to the fact that multiple local law enforcement agencies have converged near Miranda on Elk Creek Road off the Avenue of the Giants. 

The Humboldt County Sheriff Office’s Samantha Karges tells the Outpost that deputies from her agency were in the area attempting to serve a warrant as part of an ongoing homicide investigation.

The public is encouraged to avoid the area for the time being.
