Clara Belle Scilacci passed away on March 29 2018, at the age of 76. She and her husband Harold operated a dairy farm and raised their family in Ferndale. She work side by side with her husband on the dairy and in the squash fields. In later years, she enjoyed remodeling houses. After retirement Clara moved to Fortuna where she enjoyed working in her yard and spoiling her great grandchildren.

Clara was a proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her sister Ellen Kinstler (Herbert), children Sandra Frye, Steve Scilacci (Machelle), and Sharon Lutz, grandchildren Stacey Leaton (Chris), Bryan Scilacci (Jennifer) and Katie Scilacci (Jovian Fennell) and Kyle Lutz and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Harold Scilacci, parents Leland and Ethel Tuey and sisters Eunice Reeves, Geraldine James, Shirley Tuey, brothers LeRoy Tuey and Danny Tuey, and grandson Steven Frye.

Clara was known for her hard work, independence and love of family.

A memorial service will be held Thursday April 5th, at 11 a.m., Calvary Chapel, 914 9th Street, Fortuna. The Family welcomes all family and friends to join them for a lunch reception immediately following at the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ferndale Voluntary Fire Department.
