Original Post: Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office release:

We need your help to identify two subjects believed to have been involved in a residential burglary today in the Ferndale area.

At about 11:45 a.m. a homeowner on Camp Weott Road, just outside the city of Ferndale, returned home to find these two subjects actively stealing power tools from a barn on the property. The homeowner confronted them and they returned the power tools, prior to fleeing the property. After they had left, the homeowner discovered the two had also stolen keys to tractor equipment.

The two suspects were last seen driving southbound on Meridian Road in a white older-model Nissan Xterra with no license plates and two bikes on top. If you recognize these suspects or see this vehicle, do not confront them, but please report it to the Sheriff’s Office immediately.
