Pauline Marie Perkins was born Dec. 25, 1934 in Fortuna, passed away March 28, 2018 in Fortuna at 83.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman; her parents Samuel A. Aldrich and Alice M. Mosier; her brother in-law Jimmy Clay Perkins Sr.; and her sister in-law Wanda Lee Smith.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Polly Perkins and Michael Bailey and their family of Colorado; Mark and Lisa and family of McKinleyville; Jason and his wife Tammie of Fortuna; sister in-law and brother in-law, Leanna Perkins of McKinleyville, Buddy Perkins of McKinleyville, Norman and Judy Perkins of Concrete, Wash.

Pauline loved to cook and be around family. She loved to read books and go to her family property, and she also loved to share memories of her childhood. She was an animal lover. She had many friends and she will be missed by all the people who knew her. She was a blessing to our family and her friends.

She retired from the Giant at HSU after 20 years in 1998. We all loved her very much. She will be missed!
