Press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:

On Nov. 20, 2018, at about 9:50 p.m., the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Communications Center received a report of an armed robbery that had occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on the 50 block of Orchard Lane in Redway.

According to the male victim, the robbery occurred during a marijuana transaction with two male subjects. The victim was reportedly robbed at gunpoint and then struck in the head by one of the suspects.

Suspect one is described as a black male adult, 25-30 years old, 6 feet 3 inches tall, thin build, with a goatee, 2-inch long dreads and tattoos on his chest. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and a camouflage jacket. He may be in possession of a silver handgun.

Suspect two is described as a black male adult, 20-30 years old, heavy build, with a fade-style haircut. He was last seen wearing blue sweat pants and a blue zip up hoodie.

The suspects may be driving a black, four door Mercury car.
