Leland (Lee) Biasca passed away on November 26, 2018 after a long life spent with family and love ones. Lee was born on June 6, 1926 in Arcata.  He married the love of his life and better half, Virginia Biasca, on May 1, 1954. Lee graduated from Eureka High School in 1944 and a month later was training in boot camp. He served our country as part of the Army and fought in WW2. Soon after his service in the military he sought work as an electrician; first for Walt Smith then later working and retiring from Industrial Electric. During this time he built his home and began his family. Lee’s pride always laid in his children and his love in his grandkids. Lee always had an optimistic attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed being the neighborhood handyman, working in his garage building all sorts of contraptions, playing King’s Corner and solitaire, and above all spending time in Willow Creek with family and friends.

Lee was preceded in life by his wife, Virginia Biasca, parents, Mose and Eugenia Biasca, and brothers Gene, Joe, and Walt. He is survived by his three sons, Bill, Ken(Janine), and Bob (Lori).
