Isabel Theresa Detlefsen, born May 6, 1922 in Galt, California, went home to be with Jesus in the early morning hours of October 31, 2018.

Isabel lived an amazing life and filled all 96 years with family, friends, laughter and love.

Isabel loved the Lord with all her heart and is rejoicing in her heavenly home. She loved people and enjoyed visiting and telling stories from her childhood and especially stories about her kids and grandkids. She was known by many for her amazing hugs and welcoming smile. Isabel is loved by so many and will remain in our hearts forever.

Isabel is survived by her children; Anne Holgersen (Curt), Jeannie Ward (Tom), David Hanson (Charlene), Debbie Phillips (Grant), Barbara Maxon (Robert) and Donnalee Detlefsen, and too many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren to mention.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Coastline Church (Highway 101 and Indianola Cutoff, right in front of Cash-n-Carry) at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers Isabel asked that donations be made to Hospice of Humboldt.
