Press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:

On Oct. 31, 2018, at about 7:42 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a probation search at a residence on the 4800 block of Allen Court in the Pine Hill area, following several citizen complaints of possible narcotics activity occurring.

While searching the residence, deputies located 30 morphine pills, drug paraphernalia and a pair of homemade nunchucks. Deputies contacted and detained several persons inside the residence, including two felony warrant subjects, 30-year-old Kyle Tyler Bailey and 30-year-old Rhett Alex August.

Bailey was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on a felony warrant for felon in possession of ammunition and fresh charges of possession of a narcotic controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of nunchucks. His bail is set at $50,000.

 

August was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on one felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance while armed, felon in possession of a firearm and exhibiting a firearm, as well as two misdemeanor warrants for possession of a stun gun, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a narcotic controlled substance and disorderly conduct while under the influence. His bail is set at $100,000.

Two others were cited and released on scene.
