A closed freeway | Caltrans District 2.

Welp, it was good while it lasted.

Interstate 5 is closed once again due to the Delta Fire burning north of Redding.

The freeway was previously reopened with traffic controls on Monday, but Caltrans District 2 announced minutes ago that recent fire activity has shut the Interstate down.

Calfire reports that the Delta Fire is currently 58,427 acres in size and 17 percent contained.
