A handful of protesters have assembled outside Republican Headquarters in Eureka on this grey Friday evening to protest Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, who has been accused of sexual assault by multiple women.

This morning the Senate Judiciary Committer voted along party lines to advance Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Senate, but that vote is expected to be delayed by up to a week to allow for a “supplemental investigation” by the FBI into accusations made by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford that Kavanaugh attempted to rape her when they were both in high school.
