Lorraine A. Masten-Robbins (Babydoll) passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in Redding.

Lorraine (Babydoll) was born to Peter Masten Sr., and Grace Marshall-Masten on February 24, 1942. She was a Hoopa Tribal Member who was raised on the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation and resided in the Hoopa, Willow Creek and Trinity Village areas, until moving to Dunsmuir. She was married to Gordon Peard Sr. and later to Elmer L. Robbins. Babydoll worked for the Hoopa Tribe and Carolina Pacific/Southwest Forest Industries until she decided to stay home with her family. She enjoyed swimming, riding motorcycles, canning, reading and spending time with her family and friends, including her dogs Boy-Boy and Sissie.

Lorraine is survived by her Children, Gordon Peard Jr. (Alisa), Tere Salkeld (Tris), Elizabeth Turner (Lee), Sherece Hanger, and Lee Robbins. Grandchildren, Summer Ryan (Adam), Cole Peard, Rachelle Deedon (Mike), David Salkeld (Maxine), Amber Turner, Shawn Turner, Miranda Rauch (Seth), Ryan Hanger (Jacqueline), Katie Robbins (Klayton), Cheyenne Grossman and Austin Robbins, and 14 Great-Grandchildren. Brother Peter Masten Jr. (Mary), Sister Karen Skoglund, (Vernon), and special nephew Richard Stewart who always made sure she had fresh salmon to can, and other numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Robbins, her parents, Peter and Grace Masten, Sisters, Betty Faye Roberts, Thelma Mitchell, Marcia Wiezorek, and Son-in Law, Darrell Hanger.

A graveside service will be held on June 29, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Hoopa Tribal Cemetery with a reception to follow.
