Elizabeth Odell led the local charge at the Sea Otter Classic over the weekend, as four members of the Humboldt MTB club traveled to Monterey for what is considered the world’s largest cycling festival.

Odell, who is the points leader in the NoCal league JV girls division, took first place in her race, the Cat2 Juniors 15-18 Cross Country, in a sprint finish.

Her teammate Meigan Butler placed fifth in the Cat1 Juniors 17-18 Cross Country.

Also in action for the Humboldt club, on the boys side, Ethan Hunt placed 21st in the Cat2 Juniors 17-18 Cross Country, and 37th in the Cat2 17-18 Downhill.

Tommy Robinson placed 26th in the Cat1 Juniors 17-18 Cross Country, and 10th in the Enduro Men 17-18.
