The Eureka boys continued to dominate in high school golf on Monday, taking the top three spots in the latest round of the Humboldt-Del Norte League at Baywood.

Eureka’s Matt Dusi paced the field with a 77, five strokes better than teammates Chance Olson and Garrett McKenzie who came in tied for second.

With the team win, the Loggers added to their lead in the league standings and now sit 167 strokes ahead of second-placed Arcata (1658-1835).

Through five rounds of league action, Olson leads the individual standings with a score of 316, with teammate McKenzie in second, 13 strokes back.

Arcata’s Jack Baca is third overall on the season, 10 strokes further back of McKenzie.

On Monday, Kyle Plumley shot an 84 to finish fourth on the day and lead the Tigers.

Baca and Eureka’s Hunter Blevins each shot an 88, while Freddie Sundberg shot a 90 to pace McKinleyville, which placed third as a team and remains third on the season.
