Press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:

 

On April 27, 2019, at about 10:49 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the area of the 3500 block of Trinity Street, in the county’s jurisdiction of Eureka, for the report of a suspicious vehicle, which was occupied by two subjects and had been parked all night at the location.

Upon arrival, deputies located a male subject and a female subject, 27-year-old Shawnee Foster, sleeping inside of the vehicle. After contacting the two, deputies learned that both subjects were on probation with a search clause.

During a search of property belonging to the Foster, deputies located pepper spray, a taser, suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Foster was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of felon in possession of tear gas, felon in possession of a stun gun, possession of a narcotic controlled substance and violation of probation.

The male subject was released at the scene.
