Ross Gregory Wolff was born in Eureka on September 3, 1956 and left this world March 21, 2019. He was he youngest of ten children to Louis and Ann Wolff.

Ross loved football and being outside in nature. He was proud of being a member of the “Green Hornet” youth football team that played in the Oakland Coliseum. He was an All-County Selection in football at Eureka and St. Bernard’s High Schools. He also played on a College of the Redwoods State Champion Football Team that was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame.

He had a great love for dogs and their companionship, loved a good competitive card game (especially with his family) and a cold beer. He liked watching any athletic game (Go Raiders!), always with his input and wit.

Ross is preceded by his parents as well as his siblings Louis, Michael and Virginia.

Ross is survived by his siblings Riley (Julie) Wolff, Marianne Poisall, Jerry (Gail Botkins) Wolff, Stephen (Diane) Wolff, Grace (Joe) Hrvatin and Kathy Emery. He had numerous nephews and nieces as well as great-nephews and nieces.

He leaves several friends that enjoyed and helped him along his life’s journey.
