With just two points races remaining on the schedule, the race for the 2019 Humboldt Outlaw Karts championships are winding down and heating up at the same time.

The action continues on Saturday, with a full slate of racing action at the Redwood Acres sponsored by Dustin Walters Trucking and Fortuna Wheel & Brake.

The closest points race this year is in the Williamson Financial Group box stocks, with Grant Proctor and Dylan Combest tied atop the standings.

Not only are they tied in points but they both have two feature wins and three heat race wins. As good as the front two have been all season, it will be tough for Corbin Green in third to close a 17-point gap on the leaders.

Austin Bartholomew and Jack Myer round out the top five.

In the PeeWee Predator class, Adam Myer leads Raylan Ross by seven points, with Leonard Ward IV in third thanks to two feature wins.

Aaliyah Mitchell’s advantage in the Champagne Attorney Service beginner box stocks is a comfortable 44 points.

In the same division, Destiny Lewis has been impressive in her first season behind the wheel of an outlaw kart and currently sits in second, with Danica Kinsey in third.

Mitchell and Kinsey each have two main event wins this season.

Nick Ford has dominated the Fortuna Wheel & Brake fart karts, winning every feature event this season, yet is only 16 points ahead of Amanda Harpe in second.

Scott Proctor is third.

Pete Miclette is 12 points adrift in second, with. Jordan Miclette third, 30 points off the pace.

Michael Lawrence and David Alves round out the top five.

In the Nor Cal Automotive 500 kart division, Tony Miles is 35 points clear of Dax Williamson, with Cliff Myer in third.

In the Wes Green Landscaping 250 division, Dryver Dothage’s already has three feature wins and leads MKinzy Uselton by 21 points.

Landen Green is the only other feature winner in the class this season and is third in points, with Maleesa Miles and Derek Kessler rounding out the top five.

Saturday’s racing action gets under way at 3 p.m.

Grant Proctor (12) and Dylan Combest (21) are tied at the top of the standings for the Williamson Financial Group box stocks.
