Andy
Newman was born on June 9, 1966. He spent the first week
of his life camping with his family, and spent many birthdays growing
up the same way. Andy grew up in Samoa surrounded by friends and
family.
Andy loved fishing and rock hunting, spending time with friends or just leaning on the fence talking to Jeanne while hanging out with his dog, Jazz. He loved riding his Harley alone or with his friends Ron and DJ. He also enjoyed watching the San Jose Sharks hockey team and teasing our friend Janit about the Canucks. He was able to attend a Sharks game with his niece Jayme Sanders her husband Trevor and their children Izzy, Anna, and Michael. He talked all the time about what a amazing time he had. But his best two days were his son’s wedding day and the day he became a Grandpa. His son, Drew, and daughter-in-law, Amanda, gave him a granddaughter, Ahnahea, who was his greatest joy and the love of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friend’s and neighbors.
Andy had his sister Lori, granddaughter Ahnahea (3) his nieces Anna (6) and Izzy (10) over for S’mores it was a marshmallow mess. He just laughed and fed the little one marshmallows while Izzy made S’mores for him and Lori, and what fun he had.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Barbara Newman; his brother John; and sister-in-law Shirley Newman. He leaves behind his sister Lori Newman, brother Shannon and sister-in-law Laurie Newman; his son, Drew Newman, and daughter-in-law Amanda and his sweet granddaughter Ahnahea (Ahnie) Newman; his niece Jayme Sanders her husband, Trevor, and their children Elizabeth (Izzy), Annabelle (Anna), Michael (Mouse) and baby Nathan; his niece Caitlyn Newman and son Brantley (B); his nephew Dustin (Dusty) and wife Nova Newman; and his nephew Matthew (Matt) Newman along with his over-the-fence mom Jeanne and numerous cousins and friends.
