Pat was born in Southern California to Hazel Lanphear Swanson and Richard Griffon. A hard worker all her life, Pat and her first husband moved to Hayfork in 1975, where they owned the Hayfork Valley Newspaper, however it was her work at Sierra Pacific Ind. in Hayfork, and later Lincoln where she found her calling. That is also where she met her soulmate and her one true love, Donald Babcock. After more than 25 years with Sierra Pacific she and Donald retired back to Hayfork, where they enjoyed life to the fullest: camping, fishing, relaxing in the sun, and being a mama to any kind of animal that would let her, including her and Donald’s teacup poodles, especially Bodacious (BoBo).

Pat loved all kids, and her grand and great grand kids the most. She wore her name, G.G., with honor and pride.

Pat is survived by her and Don’s daughters, Dana Burt (Darryl), Deidra Barnhart-Kalinowski (John) Trina Cline, and her very best and longtime friend Lynn Fritz, grandsons; Brandon Sisk (Deanna), Matthew Cooper (Megan) granddaughters; Miranda Garrison, Makayla Barnhart, and Savannah & Shae Layne. She is also survived by her four precious great grandsons Xayden, Rynn, Kyler, and Connor and great granddaughters Finely and Natalie, her Aunt Edna Mae, Cousin Chris Pilkington, and brother, Merel Babcock.

Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Babcock, her Mother Hazel and her Granddaughter Heather Sisk. Pat will be in our hearts and memories always and forever.
