After playing a combined 15 home games in 2018, Eureka and St. Bernard’s will see a lot less home action in 2019.
The Loggers, who hosted nine times a year ago, including three playoff games, are scheduled to play just four games at Albee Stadium this fall, and will be on the road for six of their final eight games of the regular season.
The Crusaders, meanwhile, also will host just four games in 2019, traveling for five of their first six games.
The good news for the Crusaders is that they will play three of their final four games at home, including an all-Eureka Big 4 matchup against the Loggers at Crusader Field on October 26.
The Crusaders will also host Fortuna in the Big 4 finale in a repeat of last year’s game of the season.
The Loggers open the season with back-to-back home games against Placer and Windsor.
Eureka’s lone home league game will be against Fortuna on October 18.
The Loggers also play at Del Norte in their conference finale in a showdown between the White brothers.
Jason White is the head coach of Eureka, with long-time Warriors assistant Nick White now the head coach in Crescent City.
