The Crusaders will receive a stylish send off this week, as they travel to Yuba City for a NorCal Regional bowl game.
The team will leave town on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. and will receive a police escort on its way, as local law enforcement officers pay tribute to what these players have achieved this season.
Last weekend, St. Bernard’s won the Division-6 North Coast Section championship in dramatic fashion, edging out No. 1 seed Kennedy 31-28 for the title.
That victory sets up a NorCal Regional showdown against East Nicolaus on Friday night, with a place in one of this year’s state bowl games up for grabs.
The Crusaders will practice at Red Bluff High School on Thursday evening, before completing the trip to Yuba City.
Game time on Friday night is set for 7:30 p.m.
