The Humboldt State women had a six-game winning streak snapped at Cal State Monterey Bay on Saturday night, falling 62-55 in basketball.
Alexia Thrower and Madeline Hatch each scored 14 points in the loss, while Tyra Turner added 13 points and nine rebounds.
The HSU women were outscored in each of the first three quarters and trailed 55-36 heading into the fourth.
With the loss, the Jacks are now 7-2 on the season and 3-1 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
The HSU men also lost at Cal State Monterey Bay, falling 76-71.
The loss was the second straight for the Jacks, who are now 5-4 on the season and 1-3 in conference.
