Larry Leroy Oscar passed away January 18, 2019. He was born to Jerry & Harriet Oscar. He is the middle child out of three children — his older brother Jerry Oscar III, and his baby sister Linda (John Fiester Jr.)  He and his brother didn’t have any children. Only his sister Linda had two daughters — Shalisa Anne and Ann Marie — and he became an uncle to them. From those two nieces he became a great-uncle seven times: four girls, Jessica, Tricia, Geraldine and Shaleena; and three boys Cyrus, Johnny and Ethen. Then a great-great uncle 11 times.

He was born and raised on the old Rancheria in Fortuna. He is a tribal member of Bear River Rohnerville Rancheria Band.

He worked his whole life in Eureka,  where he lived with his lifelong friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Oscar II, who passed away when he was a baby, and by his mother Harriet Elaine Thomas, who passed away just few years ago.

He will be missed dearly.

We love you brother, uncle, great uncle and great-great uncle.
