On Jan. 31, 2019, at about 9:30 p.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on the 5600 block of Meadowbrook Drive in the Humboldt Hill area for the report of a stabbing that had just occurred.
Deputies arrived at the residence and found a 48-year-old female victim with non-life threating stabbing-related injuries to her wrist and shoulder. The victim told deputies that she had been housesitting for a friend when an acquaintance, identified as 34-year-old Teresa Roseann Olan, arrived at the residence. The victim and Olan got into a physical altercation, during which Olan reportedly stabbed the victim multiple times and then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Deputies were unable to locate Olan.
Olan is described as a white female adult, 5 feet 1 inch tall, approximately 105 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black or dark colored hoodie or coat, dark pants and brown boots. Olan is wanted on charges of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm, battery and criminal threats.
