Highway 96 is currently closed between Hoopa and Weitchpec due to a downed power pole blocking the roadway.
A photo of the scene sent to the Outpost by reader Michael Warden shows the road caution taped off in the area.
The California Highway Patrol estimates that the roadway will be reopened in 2 hours.
