The roads were a little clearer on Highway 36 today thanks to a good samaritan driver in Dinsmore.

A video taken by Instagram user @engineered_cuteness shows the driver of a pickup towing a Caltrans plow to freedom after the plow got stuck in the snow.

“Even snow plows get stuck … thank you to whoever was in that F-350,” the Instagram user wrote.

Caltrans Chief Public Information Officer Phil Frisbie Jr. told the Outpost that indeed a driver did help free one of their plows today in the Dinsmore area.

“Yes one of our snow plows had gotten stuck,” Frisbie said. “A passing driver found them and helped pull them out.”
