Ray Hamill/HumboldtSports.com – The Fortuna Huskies will play for an NCS championship on Friday night.

Three H-DNL teams will play for a North Coast Section championship in basketball this weekend, and the good news for local fans is that you will be able to follow the action even if you can’t travel to the games.

On Friday night, both the Fortuna boys and Del Norte girls will travel to the Bay Area for their championship games, while the St. Bernard’s girls will host their decider on Saturday night.

All three games will be broadcast live on local radio, while both of Friday’s road contests will be streamed online for a fee.

The Huskies’ showdown with Branson, the top-ranked Division-IV team in the state, will take place at College of Marin.

Tag Wotherspoon will broadcast the game live on Mix 95.1 FM and The Edge 106.7 FM, with the pregame show getting under way at 6:45 p.m., followed by tip-off at 7.

Wotherspoon will be back in town on Saturday to broadcast the St. Bernard’s girls on the same stations exactly 24 hours later.

The Del Norte girls, as always, will be broadcast live on KPOD 97.9 FM, as well as online at delnortesports.com.

Both of Friday’s games will also be streamed live on the NFHS Network. which shows high school games from all across the country.

There is a $10 monthly subscription fee, but it can be canceled at any time.

The St. Bernard’s game is not scheduled to be streamed live.
