Eureka Police Department press release:

On February 22, 2019 at about 1:30 p.m., the Eureka Police Department responded to an apartment at the 300 block of E Street for the report of a deceased male. An autopsy was performed on February 23, 2019 and the death was ruled a homicide. To protect the integrity of the investigation, no further details into the manner or cause of death will be released at this time.

The deceased male has been identified as 64 year old Raymond Prudhomme of Eureka. No suspects have been identified at this time.
