After a year-long battle with cancer, Carroll passed away at home surrounded by
family. He will be remembered by his huge smile and great sense of
humor. You never knew what he had up his sleeve.
He loved his family
so much. He leaves behind his loving wife, Birdie, of 59 years; three
children — Caroline, Craig, Crystal — and son-in-law Clyde Dalton. He
also had 10 grand children and 13 great-grandkids and many good
friends.
Carroll had a great
love for hunting, fishing and archery. He loved doing these things with
his kids and grandkids. He also loved spending time on his houseboat.
You could always count on him to know how to fix anything. He loved
and cherished the old cars that he restored. He loved old Corvettes, and had restored many, but his real love was a 1934 Ford pickup .
The family would like to thank everyone for all the cards and phone calls. It is a real blessing to all of us to know he was loved by so many.
